You will be booked in for a pre-assessment to make sure nail surgery is the right treatment for you.
You will be attended to by our two podiatrists to perform your ingrown toenail surgery under local anaesthetic. This usually takes 1 hour.
A review appointment takes place 2–3 days after surgery to check the toe and change the dressing with aftercare advice provided.
Your healing is reviewed and ongoing aftercare advice is provided.
A final review is carried out to make sure the toe is progressing well.
Most patients are fully healed 6-8 weeks post-operatively and discharged.
